Fermentation increases the amount of polyphenols and flavonoids in black rice, two powerful antioxidants that can inject elasticity into your skin. Two hyaluronic acid essences within the product line even contain as much as 10,000ppm black rice extract! Black rice can also be made into rice bran oil to deliver natural proteins and minerals to your skin. Its firming, anti-aging effect adds a healthy, youthful glow to you.

Besides fermented black rice extract, the brand’s black rice formula also contains bark extracts from mōsō bamboo shoots. Bamboo shoots are rich in protein, amino acids, carbohydrates, and vitamins B2 and B5 as well as a range of natural minerals to replenish your skin with nutrients. What’s more, bamboo shoot barks, like black rice grain, are also loaded with polyphenols and flavonoids for excellent anti-inflammatory and antioxidant effects.

HaruHaru Wonder makes an effort to use plant-based moisturizing ingredients, such as lecithin derived from soy and beta-glucan taken from cereal. The hyaluronic acids used by the brand are certified organic by ECOCERT, with the same hydrating and anti-wrinkle effects as regular hyaluronic acid but friendlier to the Earth. The brand also replaces retinol, an anti-aging powerhouse, with the plant-based bakuchiol for a similar effect but with less irritation on sensitive skin.

Not only are HaruHaru Wonder’s products certified vegan by The Vegan Society, their components have also been awarded a Green rating by the EWG. All of the packaging are made from recycled materials and are themselves recyclable, and printing is done with eco-friendly soy ink.
